Shades of Blue
Shades of blue color the sky;
The sun peeks through the canvas;
Shades of warmth envelop the clouds.
It begins to rain, creating a palette of blue against itself;
The sun emerges again,
bathing in its own warmth and beauty.
It’s raining again—
forces of nature in remorseful conflict.
The rain consumes the sky now,
spilling over like unshed tears.
The storm rages on, nothing breaks;
Shades of blue color the sky…
